Beep2Pay Gateway — Security & Checkout Experience Update, July 2026
The Beep2Pay payment gateway has been strengthened across the board — more secure by default, with a smoother checkout flow and better feedback at every step.
The Beep2Pay checkout page has been updated. Here's what's new for your customers.
What's Changed
Progress steps
The checkout page now shows a clear three-step indicator — Identify → Pay → Done — so customers always know where they are and what comes next.
Your logo on the payment page
Your outlet logo now appears at the top of the checkout screen, giving customers immediate confirmation they're paying the right place.
Faster card confirmation
When a customer enters their BeepCard number or email, the page now shows a brief confirmation before moving on — no more wondering if anything happened.
No accidental double payments
The Pay button is now locked while a payment is processing, so customers can't accidentally submit twice. If something goes wrong, it unlocks automatically so they can try again.
Cancel button on mobile
Customers using a phone can now see the Cancel button at all times. Previously it was hidden on smaller screens.
Errors always visible
When something goes wrong — a declined card, a wrong PIN — the page now scrolls automatically to the message so it's never missed on a small screen.
PIN entry is now masked
The PIN field now shows dots instead of plain numbers while typing, as you'd expect from any secure payment form.
Session timeout message
If a customer leaves the page idle for too long, they now see a clear message explaining what happened and a link to start again — instead of the page silently breaking.
Transaction reference at the end
After a successful payment, customers now see a transaction reference on the confirmation screen. If your integration redirects customers back to your site, that reference is included in the URL automatically.
